Product authenticity
Where our products come from
Glasskin Beauty sells genuine Korean skincare, bought from professional distributors based in the EU. We do not buy from marketplaces or clearance lots of unknown origin. Every delivery is checked on arrival: packaging, seal, batch number and date.
Compliant labelling
A cosmetic sold in the EU must show, in a language the consumer understands: the ingredient list (INCI), the product's function, the quantity, precautions for use, the batch number, the shelf life and the responsible person's details. Our products carry this information, on a label applied to the original packaging when that packaging is written in Korean.
Expiry dates and PAO
Korean brands most often print a manufacturing date ("MFG") and/or a use-by date ("EXP"), generally in year-month-day format. Alongside it, the open-jar symbol (for example "12M") gives the recommended period of use after opening. We never ship a product whose use-by date is close.
How to spot a counterfeit
A few signs come up again and again, whoever the seller is:
- a price far below what is charged everywhere else, with no stated reason (promotion, end of line);
- packaging with dull colours, blurry text or spelling mistakes, a badly glued box;
- no batch number, date or INCI list;
- a texture, smell or colour that differs from the brand's description;
- a missing seal, or one already broken on delivery.
Each brand's official website remains the best reference for comparing packaging.
Our commitment
If you have well-founded doubts about the authenticity of a product bought from us, write to contact@glasskin-beauty.com with your order number and photos. We check with our distributor and, if the doubt is confirmed, we refund you in full. We promise nothing beyond what we can verify: that, too, is what an honest selection means.
