PDRN
PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide, often derived from salmon) breaks down into adenosine and activates repair and regeneration mechanisms documented in laboratory studies. The strongest clinical evidence concerns the injectable version; for topical cosmetic use, independent studies remain limited — a distinction we prefer to state clearly rather than leave implied by marketing. A trending K-beauty active in 2026, often paired with exosomes or collagen in recent formulas.
How to choose
As a first contact, a PDRN toner pad or mist slots into the routine morning and evening without changing anything else. For a richer comfort step, PDRN creams paired with panthenol and centella suit weakened skin. As a weekly ritual, night masks and "glaze" masks deliver the most visible glow on waking. Be wary of spectacular percentages: a "99% PDRN" may correspond to a few ppm in the INCI list. No major contraindication has been identified for topical use; the active combines with niacinamide, peptides and hyaluronic acid.
