The CICA PDRN complex and French marine collagen (3,000 ppm) aim to support skin firmness and hydration. Note: the strongest clinical data on PDRN concerns its injectable form; in a topical application like this one, published research is still limited, which doesn't stop the formula from being designed for compromised skin, with 2% panthenol, ceramide NP, and hyaluronic acid. Mary&May cites internal tests on skin firmness and elasticity; we have not identified an independent published study to date, so we prefer to tell you this rather than wave around an unverifiable figure.
How to use it
Preferably in the evening, on cleansed skin: take a hazelnut-sized amount and massage until absorbed, as the last step of the routine or before night cream. A slight tingling from the spicules is normal for the first few minutes; start with two to three evenings a week, with no exfoliant or retinol on the same evening, and avoid any damaged skin.
