Skin1004

Skin1004 gets its name from a Korean pun ("1004" is pronounced like "angel") and builds its entire range around a single active: Madagascar Centella Asiatica. Its Madagascar Centella Ampoule (100% centella) targets redness and a weakened skin barrier; the mechanism is documented in lab studies, though the strongest clinical evidence for this active concerns the oral route more than topical use.

Which skin it suits

Sensitive and reactive skin, skin prone to redness or post-acne marks, and any skin looking for a minimalist serum with a short formula. The ampoule goes on morning and evening after the toner, two or three drops patted over the whole face, then sealed with a moisturizer. Its fluid, almost watery texture leaves no film and also suits combination to oily skin. It is ideal on recovery evenings after retinol or an exfoliant, with no special precautions except on damaged skin. The "100%" refers to the pure extract in its solvent, not a clinical dose.
